🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4):
For the Beef Filling:

500g (1 lb) ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

2–3 tbsp tomato paste (or ¼ cup tomato sauce)

¼ cup water

Oil for cooking
For Assembly:

8 small taco shells (soft or crispy)

Shredded lettuce

Diced tomatoes

Grated cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

Sour cream
-
Sliced avocado or guacamole

Fresh cilantro (optional)

Lime wedges
👨🍳 Instructions:

Cook the beef:
Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. -
Season:
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Add tomato paste and water. Simmer for about 5–7 minutes until it thickens slightly and flavors meld. -
Warm the taco shells:
Heat them in a dry skillet or oven for a few minutes until warm and slightly crisp. -
Assemble your tacos:
Spoon beef into taco shells, then pile on your toppings — cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, avocado, etc. -
Finish with a squeeze of lime and fresh cilantro if you’re into it.
